Poor communication (none) between Service Dept and Customer. Your time is not important to them. First, let me say that I drive 1hr 15min to have our car serviced here. (where I purchased the car) The previous time I went in for an oil change they said I needed new tires. Instead of asking me if I would like to have a quote for tires I sat there 1hr and 45 min waiting for them to get a price that I never asked for. Only when I inquired about the oil change being complete, did I find that the car was ready, but they were stalling trying to get the tire price first. When I got home, I noticed that the oil pan cover only had 1 screw in it and it was hanging down. I had to remove it and called them to let them know and that I would bring it in at the next service appt. Now for the current visit, I went in for an oil change, arrived 15 minutes before my appt. Apparently a recall was also needed, however, I wasn't aware and no one bothered to let me know. They did the recall and put my car in the ready line, and once again, no one ever came to tell me it was ready. I remembered that the oil pan cover was in the front floorboard and went to ask them to replace. I had now been there 1 1/2 hours. 30 min later, still no information. I again, went to the service desk to inquire about the car. I was asked who my service person was and I said that I hadn't talked to anyone except the young girl who checked me.in. (nice girl although she wouldn't make eye contact at this point) Apparently, when I asked them to replace the oil pan cover, only then did they realize that they never actually did the oil change only the recall that again, it wasn't the reason I was there. I understand that mistakes happen, but COMMUNICATION is key in any occupation. To make this visit even worse the manager was in his office the door open and he never said a word. My appt was scheduled for 4pm and should have taken less than 1 hour to complete. Unfortunately, my car wasn't ready until after 6pm. I just wonder how long it would have taken had I not gone to the desk to ask.

The experience purchasing our Land Cruiser at Serra was exceptional & efficient. Kevin, Jacob & Jose made our trip from Murray, KY well worth it! My LC made it from a FL port to their AL lot & in my possession all within a week. And, it was perfect…exactly as ordered.
