2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road vs. 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro
The Toyota Tacoma has continued to be one of its segment’s strongest performers for quite a long time. As more midsize trucks hit the marketplace, the Tacoma continues to deliver competitive performance specifications, lots of trim grades with distinct personalities and, as always, one of the best resale values in the entire automotive industry. A comparison between the 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road vs. 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro will help Serra Toyota of Decatur customers choose the version of the midsize pickup truck that will best fit their needs. The two Tacoma models share several elements, but they also display just enough differences to give potential buyers some hard decisions to make. Mostly, the TRD Pro model builds on the native capability that is found on the TRD Off-Road trim grade.
Among the most notable differences between the 2020 Tacoma TRD Off-Road and the 2020 Tacoma TRD Pro are the available cabin layouts. The TRD Off-Road model will offer Double and Access Cab versions with the TRD Pro only being equipped with the crew cab. Additionally, the length of the midsize truck’s cargo bed can also differ between the two versions of the Tacoma. Buyers choosing the TRD Off-Road model of the Tacoma will be able to pick among short, standard and long cargo beds. A person taking the TRD Pro model home with them from our showroom will only be able to have the short bed attached. Other differences include the TRD Pro being equipped with a thicker front-end skid plate, a more advanced exhaust system and a taller ride height than what is found on the TRD Off-Road.
