Key Differences Between the 2018 Toyota Sequoia and the 2017 Toyota Sequoia

For the 2018 model year of the famous Toyota Sequoia, Toyota is expanding its application of active safety to the entire trim level spectrum. This means that you'll have access to Toyota's Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), Auto High Beams (AHB), and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC).  Previous to the 2018 model year, the TSS-P was not standard equipment and drivers were obligated to upgrade to add these features to their Sequoia. The Sequoia gains a new trim level in the 2018 model lineup. The newest addition to the Sequoia lineup is the 2018 Toyota Sequoia TRD Sport. This model will be available in 4x4 and 4x2 configurations and will be equipped with the 5.7-liter i-Force V8 engine. This model grade also comes equipped with TRD Sport Tuned Bilstein Shocks and TRD front and rear anti-sway bars for increased control. You'll also find a number of model grade-specific stylistic elements on the exterior and in the interior cabin. The 2017model year does not have a Toyota Racing Development model in the trim lineup. The 2018 Toyota Sequoia will feature standard LED headlights with LED DRL, and LED fog lights. Additional exterior updates include a new front grille and bumper grille insert, distinctive to each grade.  A bumper opening chrome surround will be equipped on TRD Sport, Limited and Platinum grades. The 2017 model year features tons of features that drivers will love and stylistic elements that help to set this SUV apart from its competition. No matter the model year you choose, you'll have access to a stunning SUV with capable performance.  Looking for more information on our 2018 Toyota Sequoia vs 2017 Toyota Sequoia comparison?
