Interior and exterior Toyota colors

Choosing the colors in your car

Toyota exterior and interior color options

What does the color of your car say about you? Chances are, not much. There’s quite a variety of Toyota exterior and interior color options to choose from. In a world that is rich with color, many people tend to prefer black, white, or silver cars.

Car color popularity changes with technology and culture. In the early to mid-2000s, white and silver cars were extremely popular due to the rise of devices like iPod and iPhone. Owning a white or silver vehicle made it seem like you drove a modern piece of technology!

Silver, white, gray, and black vehicles are still generally found to outnumber all other colors. Neutrality is sometimes the best way to go!

Unless it’s a special edition, neutral colors like black or ash will be found on the interior of a new Toyota vehicle.

Color choice and resale value

Color choice should seriously be considered if you plan to resell your vehicle. While “Banana Split Yellow” may suit your current style, it might be tough to find a buyer with similar tastes — or it could be just the opposite! That bright yellow car might actually discourage thieves from swiping your ride because it will be so easy to spot on the highway!

The safest car colors tend to be the most popular, regardless. Black, blue, green, red, silver are considered to be safer for resale value. Bright or light colored vehicles tend to be less popular.
