Toyota adds new trim grade to the Highlander lineup for 2021

New Features for the 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE

The Toyota Highlander was just completely redesigned for the 2020 model year. Engineers and designers gave the updated Highlander a refreshed exterior, an updated technology package and revised interior dimensions. However, it appears that team couldn’t fit everything they wanted in the 2020 version, so they got a head-start of introducing something new for next year. The new features for the 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE have been chosen to help drivers combine the inherent practicality of the crossover SUV platform with the upscale interior appointments offered by a sport sedan. The 2021 Highlander will be the first time Toyota has produced an XSE version of the popular crossover SUV. Let’s see what we can expect to see when the 2021 Highlander XSE arrives to Toyota of Decatur.

2021 Highlander XSE Interior, Exterior and Technology

Like other Toyota vehicles with an XSE trim, the 2021 Highlander version will also feature a specially tuned suspension system in addition to all of the other special upgrades the automaker is including. Toyota gave the 2021 Highlander XSE new front fascia elements, a new grille and a lower spoiler that will only be found on the new trim grade. Overall, sharp-eyed customers might notice a lower, bolder and more aggressive stance of the road for the new Highlander XSE.

When the vehicle is viewed from profile, the rocker panels have a more sculpted appearance which will draw the observer’s eye to the first-ever dual chrome exhaust tips at the rear of the 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE. Black roof rails, mirror housings and window moldings complete the new Toyota crossover SUV’s sinister look.
