Changes to Personal Communication

Norms are being thrown out the window by the staff at Toyota of Decatur in the name of safety through social distancing. Our team has been instructed to greet guests of the dealership with a wave instead of a handshake. Additionally, we are constantly on the lookout for employees who might be getting sick and they are being sent home and told to stay there so that they get healthy before they can go back out on to the floor.

Enhanced Cleaning Protocols

Providing a clean and professional environment for our customers is something that we’ve always worked to do at Toyota of Decatur. In the time of COVID-19, our product experts and service technicians are taking those efforts up several levels. For the foreseeable future we will:

• Require service personnel to wear and change gloves between appointments to prevent spreading contamination.
• Sanitize every vehicle that comes into our facility, whether it is for service or rental. This will occur before and after any employee or customer contact.
• All high-touch areas, including work surfaces and customer lounges, will be sanitized at least once per hour.

New Delivery Services

If you started the process of buying a new or pre-owned vehicle and would like to remain at home, Toyota of Decatur will be happy to deliver it to your driveway. The same is true for service appointments that have been completed at our facility. You can drop your vehicle off at the Toyota of Decatur Service Department and take advantage of our ridesharing or shuttle service to get home.
