Owners of the new 2021 Sienna will be ready for almost anything

How many people can ride in the 2021 Toyota Sienna?

The Toyota Sienna is nearly unbeatable in the minivan segment of the global automotive industry. Designers and engineers have all but perfected the platform’s interior design to be both stylish and functional. With the dawn of a new model year just starting to peek above the metaphorical horizon, some people might be wondering, ‘How many people can ride in the 2021 Toyota Sienna,’ a small team of Toyota of Decatur product experts were curious as well and did some research. Currently, our manufacturing partner hasn’t released any exact dimensions quite yet. However, the 2021 Sienna will continue to offer three rows of seats and will almost certainly have room for seven or eight passengers. Let’s take a look at some other features future owners might enjoy.

Flexible Interior Features

Obviously, passenger capacity is going to a primary concern for people interested in the 2021 Toyota Sienna. However, one everyone gets into the Sienna, they will be able to make several adjustments that will ensure everyone will be comfortable for the entire trip. When extra space is needed, the available Super Long Slide second row of captain’s chairs will be able to travel as much as 25 inches, fore or aft.

Versions of the 2021 Sienna with the Super Long Slide seats will normally have seven spots for passengers, but some trims will be available with a stowable third middle seat for the second row. Limited and Platinum models (with front-wheel-drive) will have ottomans for extra comfort.

More Convenience Equipment

Loading a vehicle can get unnecessarily difficult when a person’s hands are full. In previous model years, automakers have made hands-free opening rear doors pretty common for crossover SUVs, much to the dismay of people who own other vehicle platforms. Every 2021 Toyota Sienna trim grade coming to the Toyota of Decatur showroom will be able to open (and close) all rear doors by making a simple kicking motion when they are in possession of the key fob.

The driver’s and front passenger door will still need to be opened and closed by hand, but the sliding side doors and rear gate can be operated in both directions using the standard kicking motion.
