Toyota Camry is Cars.com Most American-Made
Car.com has named the Toyota Camry the Most American-Made for the fifth time. Cars.com rates models that are built and bought in the U.S. Some of the factors that determine that are whether the car was assembled in the U.S. and what percentage of parts were produced outside of the U.S.
Which cars are actually made in America? It looks the company with a foreign name claims the top two spots on the Cars.com list.
The Toyota Camry has been America’s best-selling car for over a decade. It is produced in Georgetown, Kentucky in the same plant as the Toyota Avalon. The plant in Georgetown KY is the largest Toyota manufacturing facility in North America. the plant is also responsible for building engines.
The 2015 Toyota Camry has also received Kelly Blue Book’s KBB.com “15 Best Family Cars” which was chosen by their expert editors who are members of their own families. They evaluated a variety of different factors to determine the top cars that include: safety, child seats, cargo space, comfort, and more.
Toyota Sienna is number two in Most American-Made
The Toyota Sienna takes the number two spot in Cars.com Most American-Made vehicles. The Sienna is assembled in Princeton, Indiana at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana, Inc. The plant in Indiana also produces the Toyota Highlander and Sequoia.
Toyota Sienna was also chosen as one of Kelly Blue Book’s “15 Best Family Cars of 2015”. The Toyoat Sienna enjoyed a refresh for the 2015 year that included a more comfortable and stylish interior and more defined exterior style. The Sienna screams, “For kids!” People of all ages can enjoy the Sienna’s Blu-Ray Dual View Entertainment Center. The 2015 Toyota Sienna was also named as a 2015 IIHS Top Safety Pick and offers all-wheel drive.
