2020 St. Patrick’s Day Events in Decatur, AL
Celebrating our Irish heritage, whether official or honorary, is always one of our favorite parts of March. Some members of the Toyota of Decatur team have been discussing the various 2020 St. Patrick’s Day events in Decatur, AL for a while now. It occurred to us that somewhere between a few to many regular readers of the Toyota of Decatur Blog might need some help finding something to do on the day. Our area has something for just about everyone, including an event being held in downtown Decatur that is appropriate for all ages. Our team has also identified a few other events that you might like if you’re going to be busy on any particular day. Let’s see what is available.
Downtown Decatur Pub Crawl
Sat. March, 14
11 a.m.-9 p.m.
Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day and people can show off their Celtic Pride on the streets of downtown Decatur.
People who will be celebrating with their kids can visit the Alabama Center for the Arts from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. to experience a number of family-friendly events. Kids of all ages can participate in a cabbage toss, Little Leprechaun costume contest and chance to drop Mayor Tab Bowling in a dunk tank.
Other revelers can participate in the proper downtown pub crawl that kicks off at 11 a.m. People can pick up the necessary lanyard at the Alabama Center for the Arts
The businesses participating in the pub crawl include The Rail Yard, The Brick Deli and Moe’s Original Bar B Que. When you’ve had your fill of fun, you can turn your lanyard in for a chance to win a prize basket sponsored by the merchant association.Get more pub crawl details
