When: Thursday, November 28, 2019 | Runs begin at 8 a.m. Group of hikers

Where: Downtown Decatur, AL | Church St. In front of First Baptist Church Decatur

What: Come out and run in the Turkey Trot of Morgan County this Thanksgiving. People of all ages are welcome and encouraged to join in on the fun during the 1 mile fun run, 5k event, or the 5k CrossFit challenge. The benefits of this event go towards the United Way of Morgan County.

Where: Monte Sano Nature Preserve (Bankhead Trailhead) |2442 Bankhead Parkway, Huntsville, AL 35801

What: If running isn’t so much your thing, join the 2019 Thanksgiving Day Hike at the Monte Sano Nature Preserve this turkey day. Enjoy your morning walking one of the nation’s largest nature preserves and following the trails through the Historic Tree Caves to work up an appetite before Thanksgiving dinner. Walkers of all ages are welcome, even dogs too!
