The beloved family SUV is back for a new model year! The 2018 Toyota Highlander delivers on value, safety features, and performance, carrying on its reputation as the family-friendly SUV. The original Highlander was a pioneer in the midsize crossover category, and it’s no wonder that this model year continues to impress. LE and LE Plus
The LE and the LE Plus grades are well-equipped models. They don’t offer any package upgrades, but they are positively packed with features. In the LE, you’ll find 18-inch alloy wheels, Entune Audio featuring a 6.1-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth phone and music streaming, five USB ports for charging electronic devices, and an integrated backup camera. You will also enjoy heated side mirrors with turn signal indicators and a windshield wiper de-icer for when the weather gets cooler. This model has seating for eight with second- and third-row 60/40 split fold-flat seats. Also equipped with a Tow Package on V6 models, you’ll be able to tackle any task ahead of you.
The “Plus” for the LE Plus grade adds fabric and SofTex-trimmed seats, fog lights, an height-adjustable power rear liftgate with flip-up rear hatch window, an 8-way power driver seat with lumbar support, Entune Audio Plus with SiriusXM Satellite Radio and HD Radio with an 8-inch display monitor, three-zone automatic climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.
XLE and SE
Moving onto the XLE and SE model grades, drivers will notice a few luxurious upgrades such as leather-trimmed seats and heated front seats in the XLE. This trim also affords drivers a Smart Key System with push button start, power tilt-slide moonroof, Driver Easy Speak, second-row integrated sun shades, Chromtec roof rails, and a 4.2-inch color multi-information display. The XLE will lend you peace of mind, as it is equipped with an anti-theft system. You will also have access to the Homelink integrated garage door opener, an auto dimming rear view mirror, and Entune
Premium Audio with Integrated Navigation and App Suite.
When you move on to the SE grade, you’ll find a couple sportier design elements, such as a Dark Paint treatment on the front grille, headlamp housings, and roof rails, 19-in. split multi-spoke machined-face alloy wheels with black finish and black center caps, Black leather–trimmed seats with silver stitching and pattern seat inserts, and Black in-dash shelf tray color with matching dash/door technical pattern inserts. Performance is also sport-tuned in this model. The SE features sport tuned front and rear suspension (coil springs and shocks).
For both the XLE and SE, you can choose to add a Blu-ray DVD rear-seat entertainment system that helps to keep passengers entertained so you can focus on what really matters – driving.
