Last month, our team at Serra Toyota of Decatur introduced a new blog series called the Toyota Safety Sense Series where we go into detail about what safety features come standard on different Toyota vehicles. So far, we’ve highlighted the 2017 Corolla, 2016 RAV4 and 2017 Camry. This week, we want to talk about one of our most popular models: the Toyota Tundra.
2017 Toyota Tundra Toyota Safety Sense Package
Currently, the 2017 Toyota Tundra does not come standard with a Toyota Safety Sense package, but that doesn’t mean it has lackluster safety features. All trim levels and cab configurations come standard with the Star Safety System, which includes Traction Control, Vehicle Stability Control, Brake Assist, Smart Stop Technology and the Anti-lock Brake System with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution.

- 3-point safety belts for all seating positions
- LATCH child-safety system
- Tire Pressure Monitor System
- Trailer-Sway Control
- Multi-information display
The 2017 Toyota Tundra also has some advanced safety features available, including Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
