2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Gas Mileage

This year, the all-new 2016 RAV4 Hybrid made its debut as the only Hybrid model in its class. The RAV4 Hybrid is powered by a similar 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine; but this time it’s being run on the Atkinson cycle along with an electric motor.

EPA fuel economy estimates for the RAV4 Hybrid come back at 34 mpg city and 31 mpg highway for a combined 33 mpg. The Hybrid model is aimed at a crossover crowd that values clean fuel economy above all else. Quicker than the gas-powered RAV4 by an entire second when going zero to 60, the RAV4 Hybrid puts out 194 net horsepower with better acceleration!
